WHAT AN AWESOME COUPLE!! After shooting these guys’ engagement shoot in New York City I had no doubt that their wedding was going to be a blast. Becky and Derek are genuine people that have a great love for life and their friends / family and it was so very evident throughout their wedding day.

We started the day at  Glen Sanders Mansion where Julie Occhino (Beauty with Julie) was hard at work on makeup and Emma DeJesus (Jean Paul Salon) on hair.  There wedding was the end of March, which can really be a hit or miss time of year for weather.  Thankfully we were blessed with a 35° day and some very light snow flurries (the forecast was for 40° and rain, yuck).

Derek and Becky did their first look on the steps of the Glen Sanders Mansion with their bridal party and family watching from a distance.  The Bigler crew then took the couple down for their wedding photos on Jay Street in Schenectady!

The couple had their ceremony at Derek’s alma mater Siena College and their reception back at the Glen Sanders Mansion.  Props to Nick Maddalone from Cool Cat Entertainment on a fantastic party that night, as well as to the flowers by Anthology Studio, and Becky’s amazing dress from Ferri Formals.
