We were so excited to capture this E-Shoot for Elyse and Evan in Albany, NY! Check out their story below from our bride to be…

“…we met through mutual friends in our fraternity and sorority at the University of Miami in 2008! We immediately clicked and danced the night away…and the rest was history. His witty jokes, shaggy hair, big ambitions, great smile, and quiet and laid back personality was the perfect ying to my extra loud, loves to laugh, big eyes, extra anxious yang personality!”

The proposal was incredible!  Obviously, there was going to be a proposal, but the question was always when! How would he actually be able to surprise Elyse!? On a trip to the Finger Lakes with pup Tino in tow, on the morning of Evan’s birthday, they went out to the dock to open gifts when he said “there’s still one more gift to open” and he gave Elysse a beautiful card filled with a love poem, then he got down on one knee and popped the questions!!

Elyse’s reaction…

“Omg it was the most beautiful day, and we were still in our PJs out on the dock with our pup Tino and it was absolute perfection. We got to spend the rest of the day and weekend celebrating at every winery, taking our time to wait for each new glass of wine to call someone new to tell them the news! We had his delicious birthday cheesecake I brought to celebrate with hahaha It was my mom’s engagement diamond, that was actually my great grandmother’s diamond. She gave it to Evan to use for my ring, and my Aunt Susie is the jeweler who made the ring perfect for me!! It was so special when we finally made it official after a long time waiting!”
